Exploring Mindfulness


Ease your foot off the accelerator and press pause to explore ways mindfulness can bring more calming and healthy energy into your busy life!

This 90-minute workshop will explore the science behind mindfulness meditation and look at simple ways it can help us to deal with negative stress in our lives.

It will include:

·       a gentle yoga practice designed to prepare your body for meditation

·       breathing techniques

·       guided mindfulness meditation.

·       time for reflection and journaling

·       a small take-away 

 Please bring a pen and a journal. This workshop is suitable for anyone wishing to explore or deepen his or her meditation practice.

The session will be led by Kathy Parsons, meditation guide, yoga teacher and ‘type-A in recovery’. Kathy has been practicing and studying mindfulness techniques for over 10 years and believes that there is a meditation practice for everyone. First we spin, then we skin!  Join Steff @fitnursepreneur and Kathleen @fitness.tales hosted by Loft Cycle Club for an evening of self-care. Come learn the "why" & the science behind a solid skincare routine while refuelling with @middaysquares & @drinkraiz after a sweaty spin sesh with Loft Cycle Club's Rich! You will be guided through a hands on facial workshop using products from Arbonne International - a 100% vegan, cruelty-free & botanically based company. Leave feeling refreshed as we enter the fall season!

  • Fuel: 7:20pm - 7:30pm

  • Facial workshop: 7:30pm-8:30pm

Spin 101

Spin 101

A four class series for new riders or riders who want to get back to basics! Learn proper bike set-up, safety, riding form and choreography at a slower pace. Riders will have time to ask questions and practice. At the end of the series, riders will be ready for ANY spin class.

Beginning Thursday May 23rd from 7:30pm - 8:20pm (May 23rd, May 30th, June 6th and June 13th). Series is led by Loft's very own Jackie Marwah-Chow. 

Cost includes a smoothie after the last class.
